Special case: Ticket refund within 24 hours of purchase
If you booked your flight on www.airfrance.ie days or more prior to your flight´s departure, you can request your refund within 24 hours of purchase via e-mail: email@example.com
Please provide the following information:
- Passenger name(s)
- Flight number
- Flight date
- Booking reference
Once you have submitted your request by e-mail, please contact Air France customer service in order to cancel your booking. Alternatively, you can cancel your booking in the My Bookings section of the website. Please do not request a refund via the online form.
For same-day cancelations (before midnight), your bank account will not be debited. For cancelations made within 24 hours but after midnight, your bank account will be credited the full amount minus non-refundable service charges.
To request a refund, please follow the steps below:
If you have not checked in yet, you can request a refund if the following applies:
- You bought your ticket at least 48 hours and up to 12 months ago
- You have not received your boarding pass
- Your ticket is not a Flying Blue reward ticket

Please note: if you cancel a booking, your refund request will apply to all tickets within that booking. The refund amount is calculated based on your ticket’s fare conditions.
The refund amount is calculated according to the ticket fare conditions (excluding service fees which are non-refundable).
Administration charges for refund requests
You may have to pay an administration fee in addition to any cancelation charge that may apply (depending on your fare type):
- For refunds requested in the My Bookings section of the website: free of charge
- For refunds requested via telephone or the online form and processed by the Air France call center: $X administration charge
In all cases, some exceptions may apply.

For downgrade fare adjustments, please send a scanned copy of your original passenger receipt and boarding pass to: firstname.lastname@example.org
- Unused Ticket
Please send a scanned copy of any unused flight coupons to: email@example.com
- Denied Boarding Compensation
If you were denied boarding on an Air France flight and given a voucher as compensation, please send the voucher number to firstname.lastname@example.org. Once your ticket has been refunded, we will send you a confirmation e-mail.
