Ophelia, halfway between dream and reality

In a setting straight out of a dream, Ophelia transports you to the end of the night in Hong Kong.

Wan Chai, on the island of Hong Kong, is a culturally vibrant neighbourhood where many bars can be found. Among them, Ophelia is undoubtedly the most magical and mystical, and perhaps the most exuberant. The place is hidden behind a fake bird shop called Mr Wong's Aviary that is filled with hanging cages. Slip behind the velvet curtain to discover the bar with its peacock feathered walls and wooden and fabric seats in blue and purple tones.

In this aviary design imagined by Ashley Sutton, you will sip exotic cocktails such as the Funk Shui (salt butter caramel whisky and nut liquor topped with a homemade whisky biscuit), brought by waitresses in cheongsam who move on tiptoes. To accompany the potions, order the tapas cooked by the Australian chef Angus Harrison and see how the truffle arancini tastes. Finally, to add to the magical atmosphere of the place, cabarets are put on several nights a week.
