The capital of Costa Rica is gradually developing its offering of boutique accommodations, but it is not yet on par with some other cities of Central America. This probably explains the craze for this intimate address, with two Jacuzzis on the rooftop terrace and rooms overlooking the garden or a small private patio. Most feature a rather refined white style, but the Garden Suites and the Vista de Oro are adorned with beautiful old woodwork.
This stylish retro cocoon takes you back a century, to the time of the construction of the house, built by a noble family, who happily combined Victorian architecture and tropical influences. You will find the same mix of styles in the restaurant, where the French Mediterranean cuisine is tinged with exotic flavours: vanilla salmon, lamb chops with a lemon and tomato sauce, or sea bass Provencal.
