The American Museum of Natural History is home to more than 30 million specimens, and its insect and fossil collections are among the richest in the world. What do we discover? Stuffed animals, of course, 3D space, dinosaurs, the history of the Earth and indigenous cultures… But in addition to everything else, you can enjoy a wonderful exhibition of Lepidoptera. It is in the Butterfly Conservatory (located on the 2nd floor, right where you enter the museum). Unlike other exhibitions of the same kind, which consist mostly of stuffed animals, there are more than 500 live butterfly specimens that you can admire here. Very impressive!
